Update..... Following my last review, I was directly contacted by text message and a phone call from the owner. This is excellent customer service, and a lot of restaurants should learn from this. We went on Friday evening, the place was very busy. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. The menu has something for everyone. We had Chat Samosa, very well presented and taste amazing. Lamb Chops, you get 3 on the plate. The meat was very tender and accompanied by an authentic, slightly spicy sauce. Chicken Madras, full and flavoursome, nice and spicy but not too hot, so was enjoyable. Chicken Karahi as above but less spicy. Chicken really big chunks and juicy. Mushroom Rice, chips and naan. All washed down with a pint of Kingfisher. Service was very good, not in your face, ensured everything was alright. You could see that they were short staffed, and the staff that were there were very busy. I would definitely recommend a visit. Ordered a takeaway off Stockport eats and was very impressed. Ordered 3 starters to share - vegetable samosas, gobi 65 and the spiced potatoes. Really liked the cauliflower and the samosas had a good filling. I had the paneer butter masala and it was so good - lovely creamy sauce and lots of paneer! My partner enjoyed his butter chicken. Garlic naan was perfect - massive and lots of garlic. Definitely want to visit the restaurant now!
Just been here for a hen party and it was lovely - great service even though there were about 40 of us! and food was sublime. Definitely worth a visit. A real gem of a place in Romiley.
Every dish was delicious with food I've not previously tried. The portions were spot on and came beautifully presented. The service was exceptional and the recommendations were explained wonderfully. They mentioned another restaurant opening in New Mills very soon which, I am certain will do very well with the 'word of mouth' spreading to further reaches. I will be returning many times more with family and friends. .
Ordered a delivery from here - the food is delicious and authentic. My husband is vegan and they were able to accommodate and adapt their menu so he had so much more on offer to him than he usually does. They're clearly cooking fresh if they can do this! We're looking forward to coming in with the whole family soon!
Honestly can’t recommend enough. Went for a birthday meal for my son‘s first birthday and the staff went above and beyond. The new menu was lovely, good size portions too! Bonus points for bringing a cake out for my son.
We ordered chicken thali and chicken kathi roll from the new lunch menu today. All the food was spot on.... Tasty authentic flavours and cooked perfectly. The service was fantastic too such a lovely place to eat and we will deffinetly be back!!!
We came on the first week of opening... it was busy but absolutely brilliant! The food was absolutely delicious - we had a range of different curries, starters, naan and rice and it was all amazing! There was a bustling atmosphere and the interior has a unique and very interesting design. The staff were also very friendly. Thanks - we will be back.
